The need

Experience matters.
Client knowledge matters, too.

Experienced hires still need to understand a particular client's requirements, documentation, and field responsibilities. Teaching that knowledge takes time from the people already supporting your projects.

PTS organizes authorized technical material into focused lessons, practical exercises, and assessments so your team can identify gaps and guide development consistently.

How we support your team

Training built around your work.

01 / CUSTOM DEVELOPMENT

Build a training program

Develop focused training around an employee role, technical subject, or authorized client requirement.

  • Role-specific lessons and scenarios
  • Instructor and learner materials
  • Controlled technical references
02 / PROGRAM IMPROVEMENT

Strengthen what you have

Work alongside your team to improve existing training and support employee advancement.

  • Coverage and knowledge-gap review
  • Supplemental modules and exercises
  • Learning paths and reference updates
03 / COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT

Make progress visible

Use practical assessments to help your team understand development needs and evaluate learning.

  • Baseline and final knowledge checks
  • Job-related practice scenarios
  • Supervised evaluation criteria

A focused first engagement

Start with one role. Measure what changes.

01

Define the need

Confirm responsibilities, learner experience, source permissions, and objectives.

02

Develop the material

Create a new module or strengthen an existing program with lessons and assessments.

03

Review and deliver

Work with designated technical reviewers and use the agreed delivery format.

04

Evaluate the pilot

Assess learning, mentor time, and practical application before expanding.

Example application

Concrete & foundation training

A focused starting point for inspection and field coordination, developed around agreed responsibilities and authorized requirements.

Define a pilot

A pilot can include

  • Role and knowledge-gap summary
  • Lessons and instructor guidance
  • Field scenarios and learner exercises
  • Knowledge assessment and evaluation summary

Scope, fees, technical review, and delivery dates are agreed before development. Training completion does not replace required qualifications or field authorization.

Developed from field experience.

Gerald Walker developed the Pasture to Station concept from the practical need to make technical knowledge easier to teach and apply.

PTS uses a company-neutral master framework as a starting structure. Each engagement is adapted to the client's needs, with subject expertise and technical review matched to the scope of work.

Our focus is customized development, supported by agreed licensing and ongoing updates where appropriate.

A controlled approach

Your requirements.
Your confidence.

We agree on confidentiality and permitted use before controlled documents are exchanged. Client-specific material is kept within the agreed engagement and is not used in publicity or another client's program without written authorization, except where disclosure is legally required.

PTS does not claim ownership of client or third-party standards. We develop independent learning material using sources authorized for the intended use.

Can PTS improve an existing program?

Yes. An engagement can focus on coverage gaps, supplemental lessons, assessments, instructor support, or updates to authorized references.

Can training address specific client requirements?

Yes, when the necessary source-use permissions and qualified technical review are established. Client requirements are maintained separately from the company-neutral framework.

Can a pilot expand to other roles?

Yes. Expansion depends on demonstrated need, available source support, and appropriate expertise. Additional roles and subjects are scoped individually.

Does training certify an employee?

Course completion provides evidence of learning. Employer qualification, required certification, supervised experience, and authorization to perform work remain separate decisions.
